I know...for me, fat Tuesday follows fat Monday and precedes every other fat day in my life.

But this is a day to celebrate!

Buddy of mine works at a liquor store and claims the law was changed and that they will be open today.

I think I kinda sorta remember that.  The liquor stores pushed for this law arguing that availability of liquor did not make alcoholics, and a couple months later argued that grocery stores shouldn't sell liquor because the availability of liquor would make alcoholics.  Can't blame them for protecting their business, but if anyone actually bought that argument...

Nonetheless, if the law was changed - Kudos.  Now lets get importation of spirits and sales on Sunday and we'll be close to living in the 1980's.
