I am against those cop choppers. I think they are ineffective and wasteful of taxpapyers money. They (police) offten like to say the choppers are good to catch a guy fleeing in a car, fine but then why do cops in cars still race after the car in flight, if a chopper is watching- he cannot escape the chopper's eye and Cop chases offten end in wrecks, and chasing a drunk is even more dangerous, or using "stop sticks" to punchure the tires. That just gives the driver even less control of his vehicle and makes a crash that much more likely. I don't get that at all.

WoW- That's a first, I never heard of cop choppers giving traffic tickets. That ticket musta costed the city more money  to issue than the fine they got from the ticket. Those choppers are very expensive to operate and mantain, they run in the thousands per day. I don't see how a chooper issued ticket would stand up in court since the cop that came in the patrol car and wrote the ticket and signed the ticket did not see the offense happen. The cop in the chopper would have had gone to court because he's the one who witnessed the traffic offence. I guess it works like those red light camera tickets, they saw ya so you automaticly did the offense.
