How about being open on the weekend, so people can actually utilize it?

Why do they call them farmer's markets when they sell dinnerware, soy candles, tote bags, soaps and earrings?

I like all that stuff, but they don't come from a farm.

Shouldn't they just be called a market?

There is already a couple of farmers markets on Saturday.  They are trying to cover another day of the week.  I was at the market at 41st and Peoria in the parking lot at Westlake Ace Hardware and they were pretty busy.

The mix at each market is different.  If the market is an "Oklahoma Grown" market, they can have very little of the twinkie stuff.  I know the Cherry Street market is more farmer centric.  I hope all the farmers markets do well.  That will mean that Tulsa is slowly becoming more of a food involved city, when people are starting to become more concerned and involved in knowing where their food is coming from and knowing who is growing it.

I like that they are open different days of the week. That allows me a chance to see some of the people at different locations and buy what I need weekdays.
