Title: Used Appliances?
Post by: TulsaFan-inTexas on April 28, 2008, 08:42:39 AM
Can someone tell me where the best place to get used appliances such as washers and dryers would be? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I just bought a used washer/dryer there and am very VERY happy with my $275 investment.

craigslist or freecycle.org may have something listed as well.

I went there too. Good owner, delivery was as promised and the washer I purchased runs great.

Highly recommended.

And you can always check your local daily newspaper classified.  There usually are around a 100 classified ads in the Tulsa World for used appliances, not to mention weeklys such as "penny saver" papers.  I would think one would want to buy locally so they could see and inspect before purchase, as used appliances are sold "as is."
