Last time was so popular, we're doing it again! TulsaNow's is having a second tour of the BOk Center. You don't have to be part of any special organization, club or even pay a dime. The tour is free and open to everyone who goes to the effort of sending an RSVP to info(at)tulsanow.org. If you went last time, go again this time and see the progress.
We had around 60 last tour and we are starting a bit earlier this time as our guides generally end their work day at 5pm.
D'oh, I'm heading to Canada the week after this for a fishing trip, but I'll try to skip out early. Else I'll have to rely on Sqs video and TheArtist's pictures...

Only midtown elitists can afford to take fishing trips to Canada. The rest of us have to go the Lake Eufaula or Keystone, or otherise visit the frozen fish section of the neighborhood Wal-Mart.

Wrong, we pay others to fish for us...
lol. I tell ya', some day I want to be a midtown elitist. As it stands I'm but a humble midtown family man.
I'm driving from Tulsa to Iowa. Where I'll meet up with my dad and his friends and then drive to International Falls, MN and cross into Canada. From there we will drive to the lake and boat to an island cabin one of the guy's family owns and essentially camp for a long weekend.
Hours Driving: 36. Total cost outside of fuel and food: $250 for booze, lost tackle, and a fishing license.
If that's not a luxury vacation I don't know what is! Plus, I just went on vacation in 2005. [;)]
BUT good times will be had by all. I'll come back with a fine taste for Labatt's Blue and hopefully no frostbite.

Wow, that breaks down to $1.50 in lost tackle AND fishing license, that's a bargain given how weak the U.S. dollar is.
So.. umm... yeah..
Who's up for a tour?
Ummm, where do we go to rsvp? Couldn't find anything on the TN site.
I'm glad you asked. To RSVP, simply email info(at)tulsanow.org and let them know how many are coming.
sending an email now, and hopefully if anything is sent back to me no spam filters catch it.
