Cool new feature from the World: a crime mapping database:

The Chicago PD offered this service when we lived there and it was immensely useful for getting a sense of what was going on in a given neighborhood, where the problems were, and what the problems were.
Also: useful for debunking myths. *koff* Like downtown crime rates. *koff*
You mean the fact that, like I've stated several times, I have had repeated problems in south Tulsa and NOT downtown and now it comes out that mine (and inteller's) south tulsa zip code is the worst for non-violent crimes in the city, at almost double the next highest zip code?
The Tulsa Police website does a better job. You can narrow it down by your specific neighborhood and list as many or as few crime types as you wish.
