Yeah another question, sorry all, are there any Cheese shops in town? I don't mean the cheese counter at Reasors or Food Pyrimide I mean a full service (or as close to it) cheese stop.

The Amish Cheese House out in Pryor (I think it's actually in Pryor) has some good cheese.  Granted it's not in town, but the only place I know of.

I think she caught me making a cheese sandwich out of her cheese and bread at a party.  (they were for tasting)  Anyway, if it's her shop, it was the best damned cheese sandwich I've ever had.

I would definately buy cheese from her.

I've been corrected.  Apparently the person who busted me owns Oklahoma cheese or Tulsa Cheese something and is on the board of Tulsa Now.  Very tasty if anyone can help out on that one.

Swan Brother's Dairy out in Claremore.  Milked and made on-site.

Easiest way to get there is take the Will Rogers Turnpike to the Claremore exit.  Turn left toward Claremore, you can't miss it.

The only real cheese shop in town.  She carries an incredible selection of cheeses.  I do not buy from Wild Oats or Petty's anymore.  La Donna is a nice person who knows her stuff.

I stopped in at Harvard Meats this afternoon (15th & Harvard), they've got Christian Cheese (that's the brand) from Kingfisher.
