I noticed that the long-dormant site of the proposed "Eastbrooke" townhomes (35th Place between Peoria and Quincy, behind Pei Wei/Starbucks) now sports a "Metro Lofts" sign. Also noticed that some actual work is being performed on the site.
So...anybody have any conceptual drawings/site plans?
I saw an ad for them on Page 11 of this month's Tulsa People. http://www.tulsapeople-digital.com/tulsapeople/200804/
Looks very nice. And very pricey.
What happened to that Glass guy....heh...
Looks nice. I like the simple white lines for that part of Brookside.

Wow, Brookside is really turning it up lately.
How do the Brookside residents feel about all of the apartment/loft buildings going in?
I can't speak for the residents, but if I saw well-designed units being built nearby going for $499,000 and up, and run-down condos being eliminated to build upscale apartments, I'd be pretty excited about the prospects for my own property values.
heres the issue with Brookside. Brookside is a residential/commercial walkable neighborhood. The grey area is where the commercial butts up against the residential which is where, what I believe to be, good development is happening. I know some residents may not be happy but this is what makes brookside a must be place in the city of tulsa. More people living in the are will make it even more dynamic.
I am a Brookside resident and I invite progress in Tulsa. Metro Lofts in Brookside is a positive thing.
