OKLAHOMA CITY -- More than a 1,000 people streamed into the Oklahoma Capitol Wednesday for a rally in support of state Rep. Sally Kern, the Republican lawmaker who drew national condemnation for anti-gay remarks caught in a YouTube audio clip.
A "We Stand With Sally Kern," sign was posted in the Capitol's first-floor rotunda, where the rally was being held. Kern drew widespread criticism for her comments, including a remark that homosexuals are a greater threat than terrorists.
Kern has rejected demands by gay and lesbian groups that she apologize for her remarks.
1,000 people attend a rally to support her right to be homophobic?
What a black eye for Oklahoma.
I remember when I had pride in this State.
I could hold my head high & say 'Well, at least we aren't as bad as Mississippi...'
Bigots and misanthropes, unite!
Way to be on the wrong side of history and humanity!
Again!

Does that mean these people all think Homosexuals are a greater threat than terrorists? Fear Adam and Steve not Osama's been peeved!
Or does it mean they also hate homosexuals? Were there banners that said "God Hates Fags" and "I Hate Anyone That's Different?" Is 911 punishment for so many American's catching the gay (you'd be REALLY surprised at how many people actual consider this an option. Seriously, seemingly 'normal' people have expressed this to me. Friends of mine. Scary.).
Or maybe they are just supporter her as a person and don't agree with her statements?
I find their rally a bit confusing, obtuse, and frankly sad. The view is totally illogical, not to mention hurtful and pointless. "I hate fags." Thanks, your point has been noted.

How embarrassing for OK. Nice[B)]

Im glad the people in her district arent concerned with drawing business to the area, or trying to get companies to relocate to Oklahoma.
...but I hear a church in Topeka might be looking for a friendlier place...
I wish I could have been there.
I'm glad to see Oklahomans standing up for the truth!

Truth: 1) a fact that has been verified; "at last he knew the truth"; "the truth is that he didn't want to do it." 2) Agreement based in fact or reality.
We must differ on the definition. At most this is an assertion you could agree with, but how could one view this as 'truth' is a little odd. And again, that Adam and Steve are more dangerous than Osama when peeved?
That you also hate and fear homosexuals?
That 911 was punishment for too many Americans catching the gay?
Please answer that last one for me at least.

I think it is a good thing when politicians speak out against the homosexual agenda and indoctrination going on in our schools. As long as that woman refuses to apologize for what she said she will always have respect of those who are not homo/transexual apologist.

Stop. You had me at homo/transexual apologist.
^ Yeah.
Most of the content in jamesimpotentrage's posts make some sense until he regurgitates one of his now-patented crazed words or adjectives.
It's almost like a form of Tourette's Syndrome, except it occurs on Internet forums.
Well, at least it's good for a few laughs. Self-parody can have its unintentionally comedic moments.
Easy way to fix it, march on the capital condemning Sally Kern's remarks. It's our choice which message we let be the resounding statement Oklahoma makes about this.

If you condone that nonsense then that is what you are.If you tolerate such things then you shouldn't be ashamed to admit it.
