In case you didn't guess, TulsaNow ran two fake news stories on it's homepage and forum to celebrate april fool's day. The news stories can still be seen here:
https://tulsanow.org/wp/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9521
and here:
https://tulsanow.org/wp/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9522
As well as two fake banner ads:

All of the above was done in good fun overly obvious to avoid anyone actually believing them to be real (although not everyone spotted the ruse)
Hope it lightened the day of a few readers, at least.
I feed a cat to my atm once, but not a gerbil to my car.
I wanted to comment on the Gerbil banner, but didn't want to give away the ruse to anyone that might have been fooled. Also, on the "TulsaNow buys building" article, I read it first thing in the AM and bought in for about 2 sentences before the oddity of such an act caused me to realize the date.
Good one(s). [}:)]
You mean it wasn't ride your gerbil to work day? Crap, took me darn near two hours to get there yesterday. Poor little guy was exhausted by the time we got there.
