Title: Driveway/Concrete slab work
Post by: kss on March 27, 2008, 09:23:27 PM
We are looking to widen our driveway & create a new slab extending to part of backyard.  Any ideas of reliable, honest, quality-minded person/company?

My driveway is gravel that they apparently passed off as concrete. I'm guessing I have the world's first 1/4" slab.

See about having Fibermesh (//%22http://www.fibermesh.com/%22) incorporated into the concrete. It's good stuff...our driveway is five years old and not one crack. And no, I don't have any connection to the company...yadda yadda...

Grizzle-Crusher run hardens w/ time & works well. Unfortunately, city codes here wont allow that as driveway material.  I wished they would.

I'll give these people a call.  The Fibermesh looks interesting as well.

Thanks a bunch
