We only elect 'morons' anymore. And they do seem to make good useful idiots. But so do a lot of intelligent people. Everyone knows where the bread gets buttered.

Bomb, Bombs Away! - Did Fox's Britt Hume Just Imply McCain Has Early Alzheimer's ?

Chuck Todd admits media gave McCain a pass over Iran/al-Qaeda gaffe and would have attacked the Dems

"He's got enough in the bank so he can get away with it, but the Dems need to have fear of the media's running loop. Here you have it folks. When McCain makes a HUGE blunder on the one issue he tells America he's qualified to run on: foreign policy, the media shrugs it off, but if a Democratic candidate had made the same mistake it would have been headlines for days. You could assume that Lieberman would then have been booked on teevee 24/7 —yelling into the cameras that they are incompetents on the very serious issue of foreign policy instead of whispering sweet answers in McCain's ear to correct him. Get used to this treatment from the media. It's sickening..."

AND

"Citing foreign policy differences, Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.), one of his party's biggest critics of the Iraq war and a co-chair of Sen. John McCain's 2000 presidential campaign, indicated Sunday that he is in no rush to endorse the Arizona Republican this time around. "

"Hagel predicts that the country is undergoing a "historic reorientation of politics."

The reason it's not getting covered is it doesn't have traction.

It's a gaffe.

Not a 20-year association problem, nor a bad past experience in the White House.

You must have missed 3 of the four gaffes....with Lierman and Graham whispering truth to John the Hero who is out there scaring hell out of everyone in the mideast.

What do you think they're hiding? The guy is not all there. Go watch the Manchurian Candidiate. Where's his psychological profile? 20 years of sitting in a pew compared to 40 years of post traumatic syndrome?

Who will be his running mate, er caretaker?

Manchurian Candidate?  So now Hollywood should dictate how we vet our candidates?
