Filed under "Dumbest Criminals Ever". Two guys try to rob a bar during a monthly biker's meeting. Walked right past a bunch of motorcycles parked outside.

Worth a read.

About 50 burly bikers fought back with tables and chairs -- pretty much anything that wasn't bolted down. One would-be robber was tied up; the other in the hospital.
Nice.

Hog-tied with electrical cable. Wonder how they'll be treated in prison? I can hear the conversation:
"Why are you in?"
"Armed robbery."
"Cool - how'd that go down?"
"Well..."
They got some bad donkey bingo players too:
"In the last year or so, criminals have struck the club about 10 times, Webb said. And Wednesday night's incident, while unusual, wasn't the most memorable.
"We have these old bingo players and they are really serious about their games," Webb explained. "They do not like to be interrupted."
When robbers barged in one evening and announced that they were holding up the place, the players turned around and testily told them to be quiet.
"They were making it difficult for the players to hear the numbers being called," Webb said."
Here is one that happened here over the weekend. The suspects did not have far to go to be booked and processed.

DBack- when I was out in your neck of the woods in Nov. '06, there was a story in the Phoenix paper about the government and Hell's Angels Phonenix chapter being at odds over ownership the HAMC clubhouse near downtown.

This story from Australia reminded me of this quote from Phoenix:
"Wilma Fenby, 74, who has lived across Ironwood Drive for the past 29 years, said the Hells Angels have been good neighbors. "The only time I go outside after dark is if they're over there," Fenby said. "I'm more scared of the dopers. Since the bikers moved here, they don't come around anymore."
