Title: Avoiding the airport taxi fee
Post by: TheTed on March 03, 2008, 12:44:46 AM
Are there any cab companies that don't charge the $8 airport taxi fee?

The Tulsa Airports site says that most cab operators charge it. Which ones don't charge it?

That plus the $2/bag fee (bags the cabbie barely touches) doubles my cab fare home from the airport.

Also, that fee doesn't apply on the way to the airport, does it?

I figured that you had to use one of the pool taxi's that are stationed at the airport when you are leaving the airport, so you would always incur the airport fee.

I always park at Fine, so I don't mess with taxi's. The free parking card is nice to use for vacations.
