Title: really cool house for sale
Post by: RecycleMichael on February 24, 2008, 08:55:02 PM
This house is for sale in my neighborhood and I think it is way under-priced at $250,000.

It is a big house on a beautiful almost three acre lot. The current owner has raised horses and emus. The property includes a barn and a water well and backs up to a protected greenspace.

Somebody should buy this house. I need some fun new neighbors.

It looks kinda small. Plus I can't imagine that sign follows the neighborhood covenants.

I can't believe the realtor hasn't posted any pictures. What do they do to earn their six per cent?

Two questions, two words each. Flood zone? Glide path?

Out of the flood zone since they channelized Mingo creek and one mile east of the glide path aka as Memorial Drive.

Thanks for posting the photos, Hoss. It shows all the out buildings and the fenced pen for horses, etc.

This is a wonderful lot and the property has been well-maintained.

Path where planes land.

The reason there are no photos yest is probably due to the property not being ready to photograph. It appears the sellers are working on getting it ready for interior pics.It has only been on the market for 5 days.
Sellers: help your Realtor! be ready when you demand that your property goes on the MLS....first immpressions do count.
Cool little peice of land.
Hows the crime stats in that area?
Hows the skeeters from the creek and woods?
I would love a place like that for the toys and a couple of extra pets and a huge garden.
A trail thru the woods for a mountain bike to conect w/ the trail system and then a swimming pool! Large lots in that area! Potential little piece of heaven!!

Realtors do way more than most suspect they do to market, hand hold, coach, console, supply information, supply contacts etc etc for ZERO compensation until they deliver....all out of pocket.

Sounds like what a plaintiff lawyer does. Heck, sounds like what any person that works on commission does...

When I was a Realtor for a couple years, I experienced the following:

1.  Buyer near fainting and backing out of deal AT CLOSING
2.  Buyer going into hypoglycemic shock and needing rapid supply of Dr. Pepper, almost backing out...
3.  Buyer getting bluff called by soon to be ex wife, wanting to back out...
4.  Old dude who bugged me constantly about house being sold  freaking out at table about "losing the homestead" and wanting to back out...
All did close, but I never counted on anything until the check was cashed.
