Title: Need 30'x30' space for a week.
Post by: TheArtist on January 21, 2008, 11:20:40 PM
Getting ready to start the ceiling section of one of the largest murals of a project I am currently working on. The dimensions of the canvas will be an octagon that is 30'x30'  That is too large for my studio. Just need a space for about a week, possibly 3 weeks so that I can lay out the sections of canvas and do the sky part all at once.

Anyone have any ideas or know of a space that large I can rent for a week? One that has heat please lol.

I was going to suggest the stage at the Brady Theater, it's idle for now.  But I bet pretty cold.

That might be a bit chilly. A friend suggested I check out some Church gyms.

Painting a casino mural in a church gym- might want to ask around the Catholic churches then.  [;)]

Oops hadnt thought of that angle. The section I will be starting will have Zeus shooting down the sun god, his chariot and horses with a bolt of lightning. [8D]

Maybe you could talk to the Mayo and borrow some space in exchange for some work.
