Thank you. Is it safe to say that a subset of thsoe people make up the TMAPC Techical Advisory committee?
and is that THE Gary Sparks of Sparks Architecture?
Interesting that Stephanie Cantees would still be on the board after being outed as ORM/ORU "public policy liasion". Is that list still current? If it is, what is an inspector Clouseau like Cantees still doing on the board?

Does anyone know if any of these members have a bias against big box retailers and their ilk?
As opposed to the retailers who only sell small boxes?
nevermind....I did a quick google on all of them....what a stacked deck.
What's your point Inteller? I thought you were about to make a substantive contribution here finally.
What a tease!

No, he just wants to whine to TMAPC about the new Super Target that is supposed to be built at 101st and Memorial near his house. He's worried about the "traffic" it will bring. I think he lives in Bixby anyway.
A Super Target at 101st in Tulsa instead of at 121st in Bixby is a big win for the city of Tulsa's tax revenue. No way the store doesn't make it through the commission.

The Technical Advisory Committee is different from the TMAPC. The TAC is composed of engineers, city employees, people from PSO, ONG, cable, etc.... They make recommendations regarding such issues as right of way, streets, storm water, etc....
Looks as though the terms of one county appointee and two city appointees expire this month.
Anyone who wants to serve ought to contact Mayor Taylor or the county commission.

Huh? Is it really that simple?

Stupid simple, in fact. Just fill out an app...

The line for thankless, time-consuming, friendship-testing, volunteer positions is surprisingly short.
Here's a few hundred options for ya, take your pick:

Most of us will recognize that you are fulfilling your civic duty, changing the world for the better, and helping your fellow man, and we'll buy you beers accordingly. Sure, there will always be a handful of paranoid cranks who think you are part of a "stacked deck". Nobody buys them goofs beers. Wonder why?

thanks, that's what I needed to know.
After attending the TMAPC tech meeting yesterday I just want to say that Chris Sansone knows his ****. I just hope the TMAPC committee operates as logically as he does.
