Title: TulsaNow Happy Hour Thursday December 27th
Post by: RecycleMichael on December 26, 2007, 12:43:06 PM
We have been discussing this on another thread and I started this one just to make sure everyone knew what we were doing.

We are meeting at Caz's Pub. It is on Brady between Main and Boulder. I plan to be there by 5pm and promised my wife I would only drink two beers and be home by 7pm. Other posters probably will get there for the entire bar happy hour (2pm till 7pm) and will probably stay much longer.

The place is casual and I hope the cinversations around the table are as good as the ones online.

I don't want to get too serious Thursday night (I lot of people agree with me when we have been drinking), but I want to know who you think should be our next President, who should be the Tulsan of the Year, and what your three best New Year's resolutions are going to be. I will start on-line threads on these the day after...

Here is a link to the Pub website...

Who else can we expect to show up?

Two beers from 5 to 7????

That's enough time for two twelve packs for me.  I think I'll have to drop in, I haven't been in Caz's Pub for a long time and miss the place.

Since I do not really exist I probably can not make it. I struggle to get off work by 6 to pick up my boy and my wife works retail so... yeah.

At about four o'clock...tell the boss that you are getting the flu and need to go home early.

Come by Caz's and we will call it "cocktail flu". You can be diagnosed, treated and on your way to get the wife in less than an hour.

My wife wouldn't be the problem, just that she can not pick the boy up since she is working 12+ hour days in retail management this time of year.  My office is not the type that you get to leave early, I get to be the "example" as an officer.  Oh yay.  [;)]

I'll see if I can't weasel something out, just not very optimistic as I have not seen a Happy hour in more than a year.  Oh for the days when I worked for downtown firms and cut out at 2-3pm on Fridays for firm bought libations, or when I had an firm expense account at the Summit Club.  Stupid grass being greener somewhere else.

Is posting on message forums all day part of that officer example?  I love it when management gives their employees fodder.

What the hell is your problem?  Did I run over your dog yesterday or something because you are consistently being a jerk to me in every thread today.  If I killed your dog it was an accident, if someone slept with your wife it wasn't me, if you lost your job I'm sorry...

Good god man.

Alcohol may cause fights, but it also cause pregnancies.

Of course, neither are on the agenda for this evening.

There's a cazcam???  News to me!  So who knew Katie Couric and invited her?  The Jerry Giordano bit was just a cover.

Huh? Have you never heard of jet aircraft and airports? "T" Towne is only a 2-hour flight. That's not too bad.
