Title: No Access to Tulsa Now
Post by: TulsaSooner on December 08, 2007, 11:05:10 AM
Am I the only one that has been re-directed to some domain name renewal page for the last couple of weeks when trying to access this website?  Today is the first day I've been able to get here.

I haven't seen any posts about it.

Is this some kind of hint?  [:)]

We were held hostage by aliens for a couple of weeks.

We overtook them and hit them with rocks, boiled, and then ate them.

You can't get more even than that.

Tulsanow.net is a more appropriate designation.  Org sounds like the internet presence for a bona-fide 501-c type of interest or not-for-profit enterprise. Net suggests an entity comprised of numerous contributors, whose primary existence is online and function is to network.

TulsaNow has more than an online presence. We have also held face-to-face public forums for community discussions and elections.

Look forward to more of these in 2008.

But primarily online, not exclusively.  Net sounds more appropriately nerdy.

First domain name I bought was a .net

Domain names are kinda like tattoos, once you get one, it's hard to stop.

I know Tim has bought a few himself.
