Has anyone ever heard of or owned a gay dog. We have two fixed male cockapoos. I swear one of these little guys has to much of a very personal interest in the other. Problem is the receiver of this attention seems to enjoy the overtures. Perhaps we have two little gay dogs in our house. :) Just wondering. Anyone?
Many dog breeds have been so genetically messed around with that I dont think they have a clue anyway. They hump peoples legs, furniture, toys, other animals.... Being able to tell a boy dog from a girl dog is probably asking too much from the poor creatures.
In the absence of females, I think about any male dog will hit anything available, especially when they haven't been fixed.
I think the naime " Cockapoo" is quite self-explanatory.
Let's look it up. . .
Cockapoo - A gay dog.

You can probably drop "dog" from that sentence.
I have a fix Male and Female... no humping involved. But when they are around other dogs, they will do their best to hump them. Its a dominance thing, not "sexual" per se. Thus, if your dog tries to hump your leg it thinks it controls you (Male and Female dogs will do so).

So to assert yourself as alpha male you would have to, eh, nevermind.
My Yorkie Butch is the size of a mosquito, I don't think he could even hump my ankle if he wanted to.
When a cow comes in heat, it's quite common for the other cattle to jump on board (so to speak). Just think, all that hot cow-on-cow action...right here in the heart of the bible belt! (I'd blame Ellen, but this has been going on forever.) Maybe they just want the free toaster...
Dogs...well, I've seen dogs hump people's legs, stuffed animals, furniture...I just don't think they're all that particular. That's one reason why I like cats: they might occasionally yak up a hairball, but they'll never traumatize your dinner guests with unrequited acts of unspeakable love.

That is exactly what I have. [}:)] Seriously we have never had any dogs quite like these. They are a wonderful addition to the family. Of course, even if they are gay. [}:)]

I will just reword my original post to fit the new subject matter....

He may want to run off and live with this guy:

It's in perfect context now. Thanks!!!
If a male dog humps a human males leg, does that make him gay also?
Chimpanzees are pan sexual.
Okay, I had to take some obvious image Googles based on gay hotdogs, here are the winners:
