Title: Muskogee Castle?
Post by: HoneySuckle on October 26, 2007, 10:40:28 AM
Have you all been out there for the Halloween or Christmas events?

I thought one price for admission was all you had to worry about, but in the papers I saw that each "haunted" activity had a different price!!  Could end up being a small fortune to go out there[:O]

I've only been there during the Renaissance Festival.  They've got quite a large area to work with.

Don't know about an entry fee, but it's likely that they have more than one activity, considering the size of the place.  I'm sure it's like riding rides at the fair, have to pay every time you do that activity.  There are other haunted farms and such that are the same way, have two or three different things to do, and you pay for each activity.

Yeah, but at $12.95 for some activities, that's a lot.  I'd only be able to do one activity if there are four of us.  I think some were around $7.95.  They had quite a list too. What a shame it's not like Disneyworld where you buy one ticket and can take part in everything.

We went last year--haven't made for it halloween this year.  My kids really enjoyed it, though we didn't do any of the really intense parts.  They have different packages, depending on what/how much you want to see.  It isn't cheap, but I like the way it is set up--you can pick and choose what is appropriate for your kids.  We did the hay ride, the haunted forest, and one other activity. They have several characters that just wander around, in addition to all the paid activities.  Also, cider, food, etc....  All in all, I thought it was worth it.
