Mayor Kathy Taylor will address attendees at the Tulsa Metro Chamber's State of the City address presented by Cox Communications, EDS, Spirit Aerosystems and SemGroup. Hosted by the DoubleTree Hotel at Warren Place, 6110 South Yale, the luncheon address is scheduled for Noon - 1:30 pm on Thursday, October 4, 2007.

Reservations are full, but contact Elaine Walsh at 560-0298 or e-mail elainewalsh@tulsachamber.com to be included in a waiting list.

What more is there to say. Two appearances before this crowd and already a sellout..

That is admirable...

Don't get me wrong... Kathy Taylor is one intelligent street savvy individual...

I do think that either now or very soon the City of Tulsa is going to have to quit answering to Mister Neal and Co.    /   The City of Tulsa needs to divorce the Chamber of Commerce...

Somewhere.. I can't recall on which thread... Someone made mention of the amount of money being channeled into the "Vote Yes" campaign..

A little strange to think that some of the money may be just circulating out of the "Hotel Motel Tax"... through a conduit... to push a tax that was to have been left entirely up to the voters of Tulsa County...

I guess that is what is meant... when they say... Big Brother knows best.

Let me guess.....new streets, new city hall, and new river. Everything old is new again. Make the third penny hard and the tax will be all new too.....Sweet Charity featuring Hey Big Spender and There's Gotta Be Something Better Than This!
