I normally wouldn't put an article like this here but I almost threw up my lunch while reading this today.  I would hope that anyone can help find this sicko.

Manhunt Continues For Child Abductor

Broken Arrow - The manhunt for a suspect accused of abducting and sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl has entered its second day. The little girl was snatched from her front yard in Broken Arrow Thursday night and was later found naked and bleeding nearly ten miles away. NewsChannel 8's Jerry Giordano spoke with the men who made the disturbing discovery.

"She do like this. She cry real loud.

Jimmy Vang made a shocking discovery when a five-year-old girl who'd been sexually assualted arrived at his front door.

"She was naked. No clothes. She is bleeding from her private parts, too."

Vang ran next door and got neighbor Bill Graham. The two men did their best until police arrived.

"We put clothes on her and I put her on my knee and tried to comfort her as best I could," Graham says.

The girl told the men her name, where she went to school and that she was taken by a stranger.

"No one had to tell me what happened to the girl," Graham says. "You could readily see."

Graham's dog Molly seemed to calm the girl down. But the experience was shocking and disturbing for the two very different men who shared one common emotion.

"I cry with her too," Vang said. "I cry with her."

"I could hardly hold back the tears looking at that little girl," adds Graham.

Both men are thankful they found the child alive and were able to help. But the experience will haunt this quiet neighborhood for some time to come.

"It would be a lot better if we didn't have to live in a society where someone would do this."

The child had surgery Friday and is very traumatized. Her attacker remains on the loose. The only information police have to go on is a white male in a white, four-door vehicle. Anyone with any type of information that could help police in their investigation should call 259-1111 or 911.

Just pray that he is armed and resists, so the BAPD or TPD can shoot his donkey dead and save us the trial.

I did a research study one time on Prison culture.  In an interview with a convicted murderer I asked about the social effects of your conviction within prison culture.  Robbery, arson, theft all fall into the same lot.  Murders get a special piece of pride as they are "long time residents."  Surprisingly cop killers are somewhat outcast, he supposed it was because other prisoners feared harsher treatment if they befriended them.  Rapists were, at best, on the fringe of society.

Child molesters, he said with a grin, were a source of stress relief for other inmates.  When i asked him to elaborate he said, "hey, a lot of the guys in here have a kid or two on the outside.  We may not be able to actually be with our kids, but we do what we can to keep em safe.  Know what I'm sayin'?"

I had no idea.  But I'm betting its not good.

Basically, if he doesnt get it from the police - he won't fair well in prison anyway.  Even a convicted murdered thinks this man deserves extreme punishment.

Good luck finding this creep.  I would advise parents to not let their children out of their sight for one moment.  I have no confidence in our lar enforcement's ability to bring this guy in.  Why?

1. When the ten-year old was raped and murdered, TPD ossifers interviewed the murderer hours later, less than one-half-mile from where the body was found.  The vehicle was in the driveway. The dude had a bench warrant, and looked freakier than Herman Munster on crack.  The TPD just walked away.  How did they know he did not have a kidnapping victim in the house? How did they know he did not have an arsenal ready to blast away with?
2. A teen was abducted in South Tulsa and was able to provide an excellent description of the fiends.  Their visage and vehicle description lasted one news cycle.  Just weeks later another teen was held for a 24-hour period and viciously raped.  For some strange reason the criminals' description was never released.
3. When the serial rapist was in full swing, Tulsans took it upon themselves to distribute fliers warning fellow citizens of the danger.  I ran that on my website.  Within 24 hours the TPD issued a statement denying a serial rapist was on the loose.

I am very pessimistic that this will conclude any time soon, and that there will be more victims.

I will continue to let my boy play outside in my yard.  I will continue to let him play at the river parks as I read.  I will let him go to the bathroom alone at restaurants.

Any police force has a very limited ability to stop horrible acts.  At best, they can react to them and try to catch that particular offender.  Of the 100,000 children in Tulsa County, thus far one has been abducted and raped this year.

While that is far too many, it is not enough to convince me to instill a culture of restriction and fear into my child as I curtail his ability to explore the world and interact with other children in a somewhat uncontrolled setting.

I wish I felt confident enough for my child to play in the front yard. I know I will some day, but this one really rattles me. My daughter is the same age as the Broken Arrow girl.

I have a big, fenced backyard and she will just have to play there for a while while I try to get over this.

Nothing wrong with being pro-active trying to keep your kids safe...Unfortunate it has to be that way......This is a horrendous crime but some of the biggest offenders live next door or interact with kids on a daily basis......I for one think someone guilty of sex crimes against children should get the death penalty.....

But in Oklahoma, the state has a weird definition of sex crimes. A tipsy imbiber who pisses by the side of the road and is caught for indecent exposure has to register as a sex offender.

So, no, I don't support the death penalty for sex crimes. Not all of them, anyway.

agreed.  Sex offender lists should be reserved for sexual crimes AGAINST others.  Not the drunk guy who pees outside a bar (property crime really).  Not the girl who flashes at Homecoming.  And not the 17 y/o who has sex with his 15 y/o girlfriend.

Listing such people along with child rapists dilutes the entire system.

I can't even bring myself to read the entire original story.  Too sad, too sick, it's the worst thing you could ever imagine for a five year-old to face.

As far as the death penalty, it's useless as a deterrent and costs taxpayers far more per year to warehouse the creep.

Give him life w/o parole and throw him into general population.  I think he'd pay much more dearly than with his life once the other inmates figure out he's into little kids.  And just maybe, he'd get the Dahmer treatment without a bunch of costly appeals. [:(!]

As I said, Breadburner, the state has weird rules for sex crimes.

Is indecent exposure in front of a a family who happen to have kids present a death-penalty offense?

I think not.

Regardless, such offenders are part of the sex-offender registry. It doesn't take much of a leap of logic for you to support execution for such people.

Do you?

Police Release New Information On Suspect In Child Rape Case
Wednesday September 26, 2007 2:34 pm    Posted By: Kevin King

Broken Arrow - Broken Arrow Police have released new information on a possible suspect in last week's abduction and sexual assault of a five-year-old child.

Police say he is described as a white, fair-skinned male with short, thinning, light-colored hair, partially bald. The suspect's age range is between 30 and 40 years of age. He did not have facial hair or eye glasses at the time of the assault.

The suspect vehicle remains the same, a smaller white car, possibly a Dodge Intrepid, but detectives say they are entertaining leads of possible other makes and models of vehicles that are white in color.

A composite sketch of the suspect is expected to be released sometime this week.

The five-year-old girl was abducted from her home in the 500 block of East Galveston Drive in Broken Arrow at about 6:40 p.m. on the evening of September 20th.

The girl was gone for at least 45 minutes before she was later found walking naked and bleeding near 51st and Midway in Wagoner County -- nearly eight miles from where she was taken.

The girl underwent surgery Friday and was released earlier this week from the hospital. Officials say she is very traumatized, but is expected to recover.

A ten-thousand dollar reward has been offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the man responsible. Anyone with information is urged to call Broken Arrow police at 259-8400 or the crime line at 259-1111. Callers can remain anonymous.
