Title: River tax public meetings
Post by: RecycleMichael on July 30, 2007, 10:30:17 PM
Oddly, Fox23 skipped yesterday's public meeting at the fairgrounds and declared tonight's meeting the "first".

I could have sworn there was one yesterday. I was there along with the Mayor, Commissioner Miller and 80 other citizens. All the other television stations were there and the TulsaWorld even ran pictures and a story.

I guess it was the first meeting if your news crew missed the real first one.

Oh, well...did anybody here go to tonight's
"first" meeting?

I saw Channel 2's coverage tonight, and their subsequent interviews of people on the street.  Couldn't they have found people with more intelligent opinions?  Neither the guy for it or the guys against it seemed like the type that would even vote.

Turns out, it was just window dressing, as usual.
