No more Lime or Orange Sherbert.....pancakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously those are my favorites!! Booo Braums!!
What?! WHY?!?!?!
boo-urns!
lime sherbet freeze is delicious.
was it one store that was out or are they not producing it any longer?
It's still on the Braum's website.
So which do you say?
sherbeRt
or
sherbet
Global warming conspiracy. Think of all the equipment used to harvest them and all the fuel it takes to get the oranges and limes to Braums, then into their packaging.
Oh, I call it Sherbet. Same stuff hoidie toidies call "sher-bay".
Gawd Braums sucks. They have the worst customer service in on the planet, not to mention their stores, even when clean look filthy. Someone needs to tell them to UPDATE!
They said they were no longer making it.....The location I frequent is clean and been updated in the last year....But the customer service was hit and miss before that....

I agree. The only time I will go to Braums anymore is when I get a craving for their "After Dinner Mint" ice cream. (My favorite for over 20 years.) I only buy the prepackaged ice cream, never anything from the grill or soda fountain because the prep areas look so filthy.

It's because of the great ice cream rebellion of 1865. The store suffered terrible losses...
Seriously, I can't figure out why that store still exists...it must do really good business, but every time I drive by the parking lot is empty. I wonder if it's worth keeping around just because of the value of the land? It's by far the nastiest one...
Bacteria which is supposed to be in my yogurt= good.
Bacteria which winds up there by random chance or poor hygiene= long night

Then we had the 14th amendment which granted automatic citizenship to... whoops wrong thread.[:I]
The 15th and Lewis Braums is the only one left that is built in the old style from the 1970's. I agree, why do they keep this one? It is the filthiest and most crowded store in the chain. They have squeezed in so many freezers and refrigerated cases into a space that was never designed to accomodate such appliances. Braums as a chain does have the absolute worst customer service of any fast food chain. Uncaring, surly, and STUPID employees are the norm. Are you listening Drew Braum?
It's unfortunate because they have some of the tastiest milk on the planet, and of course their ice cream is great, but I can't get past the frustration of standing in line for forever and getting zero level customer service. I reserve that for trips to Europe where I expect to get ignored just like everyone else.
They were suppost to expand/rebuild the 15th and lewis store a few years ago, but got into right of way issues with ODOT. Seems ODOT didn't want braums to expand any further North. Note also that this store has no drive-thur. Yeah I have to agree that Braums service sucks.
The Braums' I frequent most are the 71st & 169 and 51st & Yale locations. They are clean enough and the customer service is fine, if a little slow at times. I've liked pretty much everything I've ever bought from Braums, can't say that about many stores. But yeah, losing the sherbets stinks.

If a retail store employee told you that, it may or may not be true.
My favorite Braums ice cream for the past 25 years (the light ice cream flavor "After Dinner Mint") comes and goes. It is readily available right now, but there have been many times in the past when it has disappeared from their retail stores for months at a time.
They must suspend some production, introduce new product, and bring back flavors as public tastes, season and demand changes. I would be very surprised if they eliminated lime and orange sherbet permanently. These are basic staple flavors, like vanilla or chocolate! I don't buy sherbet very often, but when I do, it is usually orange.
I'll tell ya what chaps my butt with Braum's...
Used to, you could drive through for breakfast, get some biscuits and gravy or whatever AND a gallon or half gallon of milk. No more. If you want a carton of milk, you have to go inside. Stupid.

thats because of their lame marketing scheme that you will buy more groceries if you go in. i think they call it fresh market or some crap.
No way would they give up Sherbert at Braums! For a lot of people who don't eat milk products, sherbert is all they can eat because it's made with water.
Having been a Sherbet farmer for more than 30 years, (you may have have been to the fair and seen Sherbet my children raised in FFA).
With the price of corn going up as well as transportation costs skyrocketing, it didnt make any sense to raise Sherbet for dessert food anymore. Typcial economic pressures caused us to reengineer our Sherbet operation up here in Pawnee County.
Nowadays we raise Sherbet for their meat and their hides, only. Prices are good but with all this rain we have been having..........
