He won't and can't due to his gayness.
In 1992, Ross Perot spent 65 million dollars of his own money to buy his way onto the presidential stage and got 18.9% of the popular vote.
Michael Bloomberg has said he could spend up to 500 million of his own dollars to run for president.
The country is very disillusioned with federal politics and the country is ripe for a third party alternative.
Bloomberg and Boren can both be "alternative" and it will seem like a strength by the time they are finished campaigning with that chest of money.

Doesn't stop Hillary.
America still won't elect a third party candidate. Boren must be ready to retire, because his next move won't be to the White House or wherever the VP lives if he gangs up with Bloomberg. I consider Boren to be vastly more savvy on politics than I am, so he's got to know his chances are even worse than I do.
All it's going to do is suck up votes from the other two candidates in the race.
I wonder how happy his royal craziness wound up after essentially getting Bill Clinton elected then Clinton signed of on NAFTA. "Do you hear that loud sucking sound..."
I should state that in saying 'That, and ...' I am not endorsing in any way shape or form the vicious rumor that the honorable Mr. Boren has any 'gayness' associated with him.

Which Boren?
David.
There were rumors floating around in the late '80's early '90's. Went so far as to mention Senate pages. Couldn't say whether that was true or not, that's why they are called rumors.
