Good for Bixby. I hope it goes well for them. Maybe Tulsa can be third.
I am glad to see the suburbs doing these things along the river. Its good to see the suburbs becoming full fleged cities in their own right not just bedroom communities. Will greatly benefit the whole area as they reach out and compete across the nation for companies, jobs, conventions, events, and people, bring them here.
Yes Tulsa may be third but any Tulsa development should be larger, thus more complicated, and more thought out. 50 mill for this Bixby development, 50 mill for both parts of the Jenks Riverwalk.... 550 mill for the possible Tulsa Landing and people still complaining it may not be good enough lol. Yes the little dogs are yipping at our heels, but the big dog has yet to bark. [;)]

no 550 mil is public bloat.....a private developer in bixby will get the same bang for buck along bixbys stretch for 50 mil. expect BA to do something soon too.
Hopefully we are saving the best for last and will learn from the mistakes made in the suburbs. Until then Tulsans will flock to the suburbs to give them their sales tax money.

bwahahahahahaha....that was funny.[}:)] yeah, the other cities are making LOTS of mistakes....like not asking for county welfare money to fund their projects.

Isn't he asking for no tax collections? The story wasn't clear but it looked like he plans to build it on his $ but recoup with a request for lower sales tax. Besides, everyone loves to tout plans, Jenks (and Kings Landing) are the only ones who have acted so far.

"same bang for buck" Well I would rather have 550 mill worth of bang than 50 mill worth. [;)]
Well considering it is from the same developer and designed to be similar to regal plaza, bixby is welcome to it. That is just a strip mall on steroids.
