Any suggestions as to when & where?
How about June 7th?
Ollies Station?
Las Americas?
McNellies?
Kilkennys?
Ideas?
Ollies is okay, I usually go there for fried chicken off the buffet once a week or so. Sometimes the food is barely commissary grade.
If we are considering the possibility of a west-side location, it wouldn't take but another three or four minutes for you downtowners to come out to Napoli's at W. 61st & 33rd W. Ave.
That's my vote anyhow.
I vote for Napoli's, but I can't do the 7th.
I could do Friday the 8th.
8th doesn't sound bad to me.
What, Where, When, Lunch, Huh? Would yall folks allow little ol' me to join? The west side of Tulsa has places to eat? [;)]

Yes to all of the above.
Need plenty of west tulsans to show up.

Yeah, there's even houses, businesses, a tag agency, a few creeks, some schools. Amazing! [;)]
Sounds good. West Tulsa....hmm, well I live on the east side of the river near the 21st street bridge, or the 23rd street bridge...well I guess now the veterans bridge [;)], anyways I am looking forward to it. And of course, I love west Tulsa and know how it has alot to offer.
Rwarn and Tulsamini should show up.
Who is in or are we still going on Friday?
What time Friday? I have an appt near 41st & Memorial at 1:00.
How about 11:30-12:30ish?
Usually about everyone can make that.

OK. I have a conference call from 11:00 to 11:30, so I could get there by 11:45-ish.
And it's kinda weird. I don't know you people! Well, except for recyclemichael...and that's still weird! [}:)]
We don't bite! (except lunch)
11:30, 11:45?
FYI- downtowners, quickest way to get there would be HWY 75 South to W. 61st St. Go west on 61st past Union to 33 W. Ave. It's in the furthest NW space in the shopping center (it's an old Simple Simon's- but far better food [;)])
Who else is in?
Rwarn???? C'mon you are another west sider.
Anyone have a birthday so USRufnex can sing for them?
I'm in.
And I will splurge for free water in your glass for all TulsaNow members, including ice!
Okay, then, I will top that, I'll comp the bread and or saltines.
OK.
I will make sure and guarantee that the restaurant does not try to put in a cover charge that day.
If they decide to, I will pay for all TulsaNow members, whatever the cost.
And I promise that each of us will get our own menu that we can hold with both hands at the same time (as long as we are in the dining area).
^^
Show-off!
Btw- will there be someone handing out trees this time? The last ones are potted for now and doing well.
There will be a surprise gift for all who show on Friday...something everybody needs and are very cool, too.

Pencils made from recycled denim??? I love those!!
Everyone excited about lunch??? (http://www.board4all.cz/images/smilies/pizza.gif)
Napoli's! Heck yah!
I guess Rwarn must be out on the Mother Road somewhere this week. I was hoping he'd come.
I like food.
Firm time? Who's coming for sure? I can get there a few minutes early and make sure we have enough seats.
I'll be there 11:30ish
7 people came, quit impressive. The lavbish gifts were a highlight although a few didn't behave very civilly. I don't think any charges are bing pressed though.
Didn't know there was a requirement but TulsaMini, Rwarn12345, Wilbur, and myself all had rather unique vehicles. RecycleMichael, Conan71 and mspivey all road pink bikes over from riverside.
I was glad that Wilbur was there with his badge and handcuffs to keep Conan and I from coming to blows. I will fight anytime someone makes fun of my pink bike...and I won the race, no matter what he says.
It was embarassing to both of us to be standing on chairs yelling like that. That big table full of women needs an apology.
Do you think they were the sisters and mothers of those girls in town for the Miss Oklahoma pageant? They were sure a table full of pretty women with long legs...
Okay, the pepper spray was a bit over the top Wilbur. I wasn't really going to bite RM anyhow.
Thanks for letting me out of the backseat after everyone else left, I really didn't want to have to bond out and I look dreadful in orange.
Look RM, throwing a stick into the spokes of someone else's bike is just plain cheating...bottom line, even if it is a bread stick.
The pepper spray was the perfect spice for my Stromboli.
I thought the pizza that you guys split looked great. I am going back and getting one of those soon.
Thanks again for the Ipods you handed out.
Just glad we got in the fight afterwards.
I have thought about it, but have never attended any of the TulsaNow lunches or get-togethers.
Do most of you regular posters here know each other personally? I have only met and know the true identity of 1-2 people on the TulsaNow forums. In hindsight, do you wish you remained anonymous on this forum, or has there been benefits to you in knowing the identities of some posters? Just curious here.

Most of us don't know each other, but many of them know me (I can be seen from a distance).
Today was the first time I met a couple of posters and half our crowd was first-time lunchers.
Did someone actually give out free Ipods? Man, I've gotta get in on one of these!
I was okay with most of the disturbance that started until the food started getting spread on the walls and each other, then I was forced to take some kind of action. I really didn't think people took too many of these posts personally. Wow! What a fight!
Sorry about the amount of pepper spray, but I think my pepper spray button got stuck and it nearly emptied the entire canister. I thought the fire department responded rather quickly and got their fans set up to get the restaurant aired out quickly. I think most of the other customers were rather amused by most of the "show", but I don't anticipate the group being asked to come back.
Next time I see a lunch set up I'll remember to bring more cuffs.
And were those pink bikes brought on purpose to blend into some of our current event discussions? That was a nice touch, even if it did lead to disaster.

Some rather embarrasing photos of me appeared in the National Enquirer after our lunch last Oct. at Webers. I attribute that to Mspivey's pole cam.
Who would have thought someone with ten cheese burgers crammed in their mouth, riding a unicycle, in a Speedo would have EVER attracted any attention?
I was completely embarrassed by all of you! That's my 'hood, y'know!! I don't know how I'll be able to show my face in there again. Guess it's to-go pizzas from now on. [B)]
Glad I got out of there when I did. Of course, speeding away wasn't a great idea with Wilbur right there.
A complete disaster. Well, except for the iPods. I don't know how I'll ever fill 80 gigs!
Remind me to NEVER ask Wilbur to pass the pepper EVER again. [:(]

Are these lunch functions like an AA meeting? Do you all wear name tags with your screen name only on them, no last names allowed, concealing your true identity?!?
I always wear one of those professional wrestling "Mr. X" masks to the lunches. Recycle Michael wears pantyhose over his face to conceal his identity. It's gotten the cops called more than once.

Everyone generally lists both, but I guess you can just say "call me steve."
The first time anyone "from the forum" got together (which was a dinner at mexicali about two years ago) We had rexbrown, MichaelC, recyclemichael, myself and a handful of others. Pretty much no-one knew each other.
We generally find that we know each other through other connections.
Didn't we already pick next month's lunch location?

After this last one, the D.L. Moss might be an option...
