When My Son came home from Iraq, his plane stopped in Ireland. While waiting for his connecting flight, look with whom he ran into.

All politics aside, getting a picture with a former world leader is truly an honor. (By the way, my Son is in the middle.)
Did your son and the president have a beer together? Or was it a two-minute, bump-into-the-airport, "Hey, how you doin'" thing?
Still cool, regardless.
Very cool...
I'm glad your son is home, too.

According to Jim (my Son), Clinton was also waiting for a flight (or perhaps waiting for a private transport to be made ready), and was shaking hands with a few soldiers who were on their way back to the States.
Clinton then indeed had a brew with a few soldiers, and even sat down and chat for a few minutes. A good photo-op for Clinton; and great honor for my Son.

Thank you Michael, but I'm getting ready for round #2. Jim called me last week and said, "Dad, I did it. I signed up for another 6 years."
My Son truly honors me.

Wow. You must be really proud of your son. Its people like this that make this country so great. My hats off to you and your son. You did a good job raising him. Thanks for sharing the picture.
Your son truly honors us all.
Tell him thanks from all of us.
Thanks guys - you brought a tear to dad's eye.
Awesome - never been a fan of Clinton myself, but even I can see the honor of this.
That's great. I'm not a fan of Clinton's politics but he seems like a real personable guy. What a lucky day for your son!
and of all the places in the world to have a beer with an ex-president, Ireland 'taint a bad one. [;)]
