Not all, but some. Section 8 just means low-rent for low-income tenants. I believe Mansion House is a senior-only apartment complex and many of those are section 8 or otherwise subsidized. Woodland Manor at 61st and Memorial is another example.

Are these currently up, going up, planned?  I am not familiar with them I'm afraid.

ยง8 isnt always bad, but it usually is.  Simply put, people tend not to take care of things when they dont have to pay for them.

They are already existing unremarkable apartments that I've seen some work going on in the past few years.
