Anyone here use it? If so, what have you done on it recently?

I gave away a kitchen stove. I also advertised a car on there. Got rid of both, the stove people found me on craigslist, but the car people did not. Of course, I can't really complain about a free classified ad.
I used it to search for some used industrial equipment- no luck.
I blushed quite hard when I typed in craiglist.com [:I]
FYI, dont type that in at work to see what it is. [B)]
ive used it before and check it out everyday for apts/housing.
I used it almost every day for a solid month after my car's transmission went out. I never found "the deal of the day" but only because Tulsa's craigslist is so underused. I also check out the free section a lot.
Another example of Tulsa being 5 years behind in something...why craigslist isn't used more in Tulsa I'll never understand.

I don't think we even had one until about a year ago.
Ours started in November of 2004...way before many other cities...

I use it regularly to advertise for my downtown condos at Central Park and I've gotten a good response but mostly from out-of-town clients.

craigslist without the smut.
I have sold two cars, and numerous furniture items via the Tulsa CL...its picking up steam, for sure.
I purchased my current car from an OKC CL ad.

-smut, but you lose your soul.
Kinda like hotmail. I still have my hotmail address from 12 years ago, but I quite using it once MS bought it and change the terms to such that microsoft owned all email transferred to-from hotmail. So if you email a program you wrote, or a movie script, or sent confidential documents, Microsoft has full ownership.
Also keep in mind, Craigslist is listed as solely responsible for the loss of millions in revenue from places like the Tulsa World. That is why TW launched their free ad service, to try and slow the expansion of craigslist in Tulsa.
I sold a 4Runner on tulsa.craigslist once.
I've sold and given away furniture and appliances. I've bought kid's stuff, furniture, electronics, and even hired a landscaper.
I don't even think to use the Tulsa World first...

Just because microsoft, apple, intel and a dozen others are evil, doesn't mean I'm not addicted.
