11:30-12:30ish
Topics of all kinds will be discussed.
Who will be there?
I'm in. I am going to get the Cuban Sandwich with the corn, bean and cucumber salad. I'll order an appetizer of calf fries if someone will split them with me.
I'll be there, but I don't eat very many vegetables so I think I'll stick to potato fries.
Try something with gristle, grizzle.
hmmm... got wednesday off work...
decisions, decisions...
I will try to be there. Just not sure yet what part of town I am going to be working in. Could be Waterstone Estates or at the Central Center.
Love Caz's Chowhouse! [:)]
Can't make it on Wednesday. [:(]

We promise to be nice.
Reminder: this is today
We're here.
Where are you?
Of all places that we have lunched together, Caz's was my favorite.
I liked Serrano's, Weber's, Phat Phillie's, all of them, but Caz's was excellent. Our waiter, Jimmy was great. The owner, Jeff Castleberry came by to greet us even telling about his past.
I loved the Cuban sandwich and didn't realize that his chef used to be the personal chef for Fidel Castro. I also loved the corn, bean and cucumber salad.
I also loved the discussions. The annexation, river development and other topics were fun conversation.
Totally forgot what day it was until I saw Grizz's post that you guys were there.
The food was great. I had the chicken/sausage gumbo and a wheat beer. Castleberry is cool in my books. I was surprised that he offered me the Cuban cigar. Was that legal? It smokes so well it must be illegal![:P]
I thought the whole cuban cigar thing was very Freudian of you.

Sometimes a cigar...is just a cigar.
I thought a Freudian slip was saying one thing and thinking of your Mother.
Uuugh, I was working away on a portrait then looked at my cell and realized it was 1:30 and was like, drats, missed the lunch. [:(]
I missed the lunch today! Dangit!
Need to schedule another gig at Caz's again soon. They've been serving up good grub for awhile now, but the place is still sort of a secret.
What has happened to Caz's?
I only eat there a couple of times a year but over the last three years their food quality has gone downhill quite a bit.
So much so that after today, I'm not sure if I will return.
Anyone have any idea if they've changed owners, recipes, etc?

Noticed that. The cleanliness was disconcerting as well.
We've not been back in some time.
Their staff can be hit and miss, but I've never had an issue with the food.
