Has anyone got any information on this weekends Peace Rally's in Tulsa?

What I have heard is there will be several along Riverside and Peoria.

Be fine with me, one wouldn't have to worry about being run over by a republican supported migrant worker.

I know there is this rally and march at 1 pm, Saturday, March 17  at All Souls Church, 2952 S Peoria.

They are also collecting items for Blue Star Mothers.

Thanks for the info. I also heard that there is one along Peoria around 31st street. Or at lease that is where the police were told that there will be one.

The plural of "rally" is "rallies".

Rally's is a burger chain, though I've always found them to be peaceful.

Very amusing....

I was at a concert in Long Beach CA.. the year I am not certain of   The bands were playing on a portion of a pier that was very visible from the beach..

Several men that looked as though they had been back from Nam for a short while... were passing out copies of the LA Times... With the headline that took up most of the front page...

The War Is Over

There was such a spontaneous celebration... it was ... well.. there are not words for it to be described.

If only it had been true...

The next song played by the band was "Unknown Soldier"...

10 years from now all the cocky neocons need to meet and demonstrate in great detail the accomplishments of this war..

Porky: there is a "Peace House" in West Tulsa ...

They will know all the rallies and demonstrations planned..

Sans nightsticks, tear gas, etc. of the past.

Awesome, I won't have to worry about forgetting the papers. [8D]

Maybe they'll even have a couple of A&W trays. [^]

Used to eat at those all the time in New Orleans; they were almost as common as Taco Bueno was in Tulsa. There's only maybe one or two in the greater Biloxi area these days.

is this a peace rally or an immigration rally under the guise of a peace rally?
