My out of town friend would like to have an art show of his collection here in town. I need to know some of the more well known galleries here in town for him to contact. His art is fairly abstract. His latest collection is at www.jpmccauley.com (new site still under construction) its a fairlt bandwidth intensive online gallery.
Any info I can pass on would be helpful.

The M.A. Doran Gallery in Brookside is the best gallery here in town.

This place is geared toward lesser known artists....but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

University of Tulsa does a great job. I have a good friend who hosted several photography exhibits there. If you have any connections to the university I'm sure your friend can make some kind of an agreement.
Will he have a starving artist's sale?
While Club 209, in the Brady District, is not a gallery, every month they showcase a local artist.

this place looks more appropriate. Do you know if their shows get a lot of traffic?
To be honest, I've only been there on a few occassions, so I don't know. They just moved to that location from Jenks, but it's across the street from 818, which is a popular bar. I think they are going to be working together to get more traffic to that whole little neighborhood there. I think that most 818 patrons would enjoy the gallery, but I don't know what their actual traffic flow is like.
