Living in this area it seems the public school system and other forms of education are lacking. I just received a phone call from a client that has been attempting to access one of our web sites since last week.
They were typing in our EMAIL address in the address bar of the browser instead of the URL address.
Seems the Internet engineers need to make it read: This is an EMAIL ADDRESS and not a WEB SITE ADDRESS, when ever someone types in an email in the place of a web address.
Give them the two examples of each: emailname@website.xxx and www.websitename.xxx
Currently a small box appears below when you do that that reads Syntax Error. I doubt if folks that don't know the difference between an email addy and a url would understand "Syntax Error".
Some people can't Buy a Clue.
Send that suggestion to Microsoft or othe browser companises. I agree a message like that would help many.
