Title: Forum Lunch - Feb 8th
Post by: sgrizzle on January 31, 2007, 09:17:33 AM
How about another mid-day interlude of good food and good company at Soranno's Italian Cafe (//%22http://www.urbantulsa.com/gyrobase/Content?oid=oid%3A15693%22) on February 8th?

All forum members invited and encouraged to come.

Anyone in?

I think I can make it. I get in real late the night before from a trip to D.C. so I might have problems.

Who has been there? Can we get a big table?

What time can we be there?

It says they open at 7.

I might run by there today and see what I can find out.

The place seats 57 inside, plus seats and a couch in the lobby and some outside tables.

Who's going?

How about 11:30 - 12:30 approximately. If you can't be there that early, don't worry about it. Just try to show up in that window.

Anyone else interested?

Ahh.. Capicola, Pepperone, Salami, Mortadella and Provolone cheese.

I'm going with "The Duke" myself.

Others should join us. They should also suggest location for the next meal...

Ollie's? Hideaway? The Brook?

I didn't catch the last name. Maurice something. I was more interested in the woman he was with, sort of a celebrity type.

I'm pretty sure that woman was Teri Hatcher, at least I think so.

So was that Maurice Kanbar who bought our lunch?   Holy Cow!

Actually it was pepperoni & salami.[:P] The woman said they were going over a screenplay or something. Maury was a nice guy (anyone who buys my lunch is a nice guy).

I got the woman's number if you're interested.
RecycleMike, what were you guys talking so long about?

I was pitching an idea about how to connect each of his buildings through a network of cheese-themed restaurants.

I called it Tour de Brie.
