I just got Microsoft Flight Simulator X for Christmas and I took off from Tulsa Itl. and headed for downtown. I went SW towards the river and lo and behold, it was full of water! Haven't seen the river look that great in years if ever. I followed the river past the Citiplex towers and the Jenks bridge and headed to Bixby.
Perhaps Microsoft knows something we don't.

[:D]the river is never full it always looks like a sandy stinky beach.
They mow it regularly though...
Dunno, maybe I should move to MS Tulsa.

Dang river is a stinking mess. We should fill it in and build houses on it. Like our ancestors did. Then we can all buy flood insurance and wait on government checks when the disasters come.

Can we fill it with Salsa?
Wait until all that snow that has been burying the Colorado mountains melts and the river will be full...
We cannot do that Waterboy. If only we would focus on the river, Tulsa could have the next Branson Landing or San Antonio Riverwalk or even become Dallas, Wichita, St. Louis, or OKC. It's just that simple.
I thought you were going to say you saw these big, tall buildings jutting out of the river near the downtown area. No, I guess not.
But alas, it was beautiful flying over West Tulsa seeing the river full of life and swift current. You could almost see Huckleberry and Sawyer going down it...
[8D]ya if you can pull them out of the raw sewage floating down the river by the pepsi plant. the sewage department is right there on the river.

THAT AINT A SNICKERS BAR!
You're right, Timmy... that man did not die a good death. Thank goodness he's floating towards the Jenks side of the river.
