The University of Tulsa hosts the University of Oklahoma in women's basketball.
OU's center, Courtney Paris, the 6'4" sophomore center was a first team All-American as a freshmen and leads the country in rebounding.
TU has a senior 6'1" forward, Jilian Robbins, who led her conference in rebounding and scoring and is also a finalist for the Wooden Award, the equivalent of the Heisman.
Each are the best players in their school's history.
Awesome game.
OU dominated when Courtney Paris was in the lineup and won by 23, but Tulsa played great for being so undersized.
Paris scored at will. She has the whole game, unbelievable size and a great presence under the basket. She has quick moves and gets every rebound and looks unstoppable. When she was in the game, the TU centers and power forwards scored no points.
Jillian Robbins is a great player too, just way too thin to compete under the glass. She had six blocked shots and half of the TU points.
The crowd was big for women's B-ball and the arena was three fourths sold out. The crowd was also at least two to one OU red.
