Tulsa World (//%22http://www.tulsaworld.com/NewsStory.asp?ID=061115_Ne_A1_Tulsa31554%22):

Including five perfect scores in the region!

Last year, Jenks Southeast Elementary was one of four schools in the state to receive a perfect API score. It repeated the score this year along with Tulsa Public Schools' Carnegie and Eisenhower International elementary schools and Deborah Brown Community School, a charter school in the district. Sand Springs' Pratt Elementary and Claremore's Roosa Elementary also joined the list.

/looking at the linked .pdfs, it seems like TPS schools' scores are up across the board.  The story says the API standard goes up next year, so it'll be interesting to see if they can keep up.

My sister's college mascot was the "fighting owls."  I always liked that.  My husband's was the Diplomats.  I picture the football team running out on field, and then attempting to score through some serious negotiations.  Maybe next PTA meeting, I'll bring up bookworms as a suggestion.
