Title: Cheney goes hunting on election day
Post by: RecycleMichael on November 05, 2006, 05:16:11 PM
Here is the story...

I think it is odd that the vice-president is not furiously campaigning and watching the election results. Doesn't any candidate want that baggage?

This could easily be a 50 50 Senate which means he is the tie-breaker. Does he not care?

I think he knows this will be a very bad day for the republicans and he wants to avoid the spotlight of a situation he helped create.

Either that or he just wants to shoot another lawyer.

Easy explanation: Cheney has an approval rating in the 20s, last I checked. No politician in his right mind would have him campaigning for him/her.

Another explanation: He knows several races will not be determined for several days due to "voting irregularities".

You would think if he wanted to draw attention away from himself, he might have choosen an activity that did not involve shotguns.

Could you imagine the implications for election day if he accidently shot another person?
