Title: Mel Gibson stops by to say "Hi"
Post by: Johnboy976 on September 24, 2006, 12:29:21 AM
Interesting article I breezed through:

http://www.kotv.com/news/?111536

Evidently Gibson came to Oklahoma (incognito) to see the reaction of crowds to his new movie coming out in December. OH!!! (BIG SARCASM ALERT!!!!)And I love this... rumor has it that he may want to premiere the movie in Oklahoma.

Well, in the 35% chance that he will do so... I wager that somewhere around OKC will be his ideal location for the release of "Apocalypto." I mean, who cares if Tulsa has the largest per capita of Native Americans for any major city (300,000+). Obviously OKC has a leg up.

AHHHHHH!!! Now my utter confusion/frustration/irritation has been expressed.

Granted... I'm not really that hacked about it. OKC does have better presence.

Yea I think we need Brokeback Mountain II to premiere in Tulsa, after all we have the most gays per capita!!! [:o)]

How dare they choose San Francisco and especially LA, where movies are made!!
