Oklahoma City – Karl Rove, the man touted by many as responsible for electing George W. Bush President, is coming to Oklahoma City on Monday, October 9 to do the same for Ernest Istook.
"Without a doubt Rove's trip for Congressman Istook sends a message that he will be the next Governor of Oklahoma. Get on board now, while you still can," stated Chris Wilson, Istook campaign general consultant and pollster.
"Judy and I are thrilled. I've enjoyed working with him to help pass the President's conservative agenda of lower taxes, a strong national defense, and traditional family values," Ernest Istook added. "I'm excited by the opportunity to show him the great state of Oklahoma. Sure, we'll probably have to beat Texas on Saturday, but that won't stop us from uniting and beating Brad Henry."
Karl Rove has been labeled "the architect" and the "Bobby Fisher of politics," and has scored some of the biggest political victories in the past 30 years. Washington Post writer Dan Balz said President Bush's 2004 reelection was "Four more years... attributed to Rove's strategy."
The event will be in Oklahoma City the evening of Monday, October 9.
/"Dirtybritches" hisself! "Turdblossom", whatever.
You know, I'd LOVE to go see him but I think I'm gonna be...uhhh...takin' a crap that day.
Or something.
"Bush's Brain", "The Bobby Fisher of hate-mongering", "Chestie McPoo-flinger", etc.
I think I like Turdblossom best. [}:)]

/The
gay terrorist threat?
Remarkable thing about Rove...he's a self-proclaimed agnostic AND his stepfather (the only father he ever knew and by all accounts he loved deeply) was a homosexual.
He's essentially crafted the current administration's platform not out of some sense of deeply felt conviction, but simply because he saw the Evangelicals as an untapped political market.
Lets hope this works!! I'm so tired of Brad Henry's lies.
But you never tire of George Bush's lies. I'd say ya got a bit of a double standard there, Cubs.
Any money on the possibility that "Tubby" will make his way to this one......?

This could be the kiss of death for Istook.

Looks to me like you're blinded by partisan politics. Bush is one of the most prolific liars ever to hold public office. His lying is SO prolific that he's little more than a joke now.

I moved out of state right before Henry took office, so I do not know much about him. So, what are some of his lies?
Concerning Istook. Does he actually have a plan for the state? What is his vision of Oklahoma? Because, all I see him doing now is pandering to the latest political flavor of the month - illegal immigration.
Yes Mister Rove made it to OKC........
What is astounding to me about the man is not a soul has discovered the man, the legend, as close as one can get to Sainthood without being dead, has Groupies (//%22http://www.ilovekarlrove.com%22)[}:)]

Yeah, I took it to be tongue-in-cheed. Uhhhhh...no pun intended.
Didja notice the 639 comments on the latest blog? I think we're in trouble.
Yeah, papaspot, but the huge majority of comments are from spammers.

Isn't Karl Rove involved or tied into in the Jack Abramhoff lobbying scandals? If I were seeking office today, the last persons I would want to be associated with were the Bushies and his buddies.
