Title: Tulsa School Superintendent Candidate Withdraws
Post by: mh10 on June 10, 2006, 04:07:21 PM
From the Tulsa World website:

The Tulsa school board on Saturday accepted the withdrawal of Julia Earl as a superintendent finalist.

The board cancelled its plan to visit Earl's current district in Nashua, N.H., later this week, but will visit the Brownsville, Texas, district of the only remaining finalist, Michael Zolkoski, on Tuesday.

After the board met in executive session for two hours on Saturday morning, Board President Matt Livingood announced that a special meeting has been set for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday so the board can decide whether to hire Zolkoski or to reopen the search to new applicants.
