If you've never seen criterium bicycle racing, get down to the Blue Dome district on Friday night! (Other races will be held in the Brady district and on Riverside Drive on Sat and Sunday.) Friday night, professional and elite, amateur cyclists will be racing from 7:00 - 10:30 PM through the Blue Dome and Greenwood districts.
In criterium racing, the course is a small loop (less than a mile) which means that about 100 cyclists will be zipping around and around the course, allowing spectators to follow the race from one location.
Live music (Midwest Kings on Fri night), great beer (McNellies, etc), and exciting men's and women's bike races... Is there any place you'd rather be?!
