The Tulsa World published a story Sunday suggesting Tulsa County Commissioner Randi Sullivan had an affair with Mike Buchert, assistant director of Public Works and husband of council candidate Theresa Buckert.
The story suggested Miller had an "unprofessional relationship" with Buckert that resulted in "special favors" when Miller served on the City Council.
Miller repeatedly has denied she had an extramarital affair with Buchert. Her attorney said there are no facts to back up the allegation.Buchert said the relationship was "just friendship." Buchert once went to her house to "fix her pool." Shortly after Public Works Director Charles Hardt found about the relationship, he reassigned Buckert so he would not have as many direct dealings with the City Council.
Miller lives in Tulsa while her husband lives in Florida.
So District 7 City Councilor Randy Sullivan had an affair with Mike Buchert, er I mean Buckert? Wow! What a professional publication.
