Title: Recycle the Old "Yes For Tulsa" Recall Signs
Post by: Shadow6 on March 05, 2006, 12:40:59 PM
I remember a thread somewhere (maybe not this forum) about picking up those "Vote Yes For Tulsa" signs that the GOBN put up for the recall last summer as trophies.

After I got my "Vote No" postcard, I figured I'd bring my recall trophy out of retirement.

All you do is get rid of the date and the reference to the area of Tulsa (My trophy is a "For East Tulsa" sign, so I'm using masking tape to mark over the date and "East") and Violia!  I have a vote yes sign, compliments of the GOBN.

You post it in a strategic place on the most traveled avenue of approach to your polling place (not too close, there are rules about that sort of thing) on election day, and pick it up that night.  Maybe it will be there, maybe not, but you have struck a blow for your position, and tweaked a nose or two in the process.
