Bill LaFortune mentioned in his opening remarks at the TREC forum that the candidates were given the questions in advance. The word is that LaFortune and Miller are avoiding candidate forums where they might be asked unscripted questions. The moderator of an upcoming televised debate held a meeting recently to talk logistics with the mayoral campaign managers.
LaFortune's manager asked when the candidates would get the questions. The reply: when they come out of the moderator's mouth the night of the debate.
