Title: Important Mayoral Candidate Forum Tuesday Night
Post by: RecycleMichael on February 16, 2006, 01:06:35 PM
This is the one you all have been waiting for.

It is next Tuesday the 21st, beginning at 6pm at OSU-Tulsa. It is being held with exactly two weeks left in an eight week period from filing to election (kinda like the beginning of the fourth quarter).

If memory serves me, this was the biggest audience of any of the forums last time. It is completely open to the publicand this is a great chance to hear the candidates.

The Arts and Humanities Council and TulsaNow are the sponsors, so expect lots of questions about downtown revitalization and commitment to quality of life issues like art.

This is a can't miss forum. I expect each of the candidates to be on their game and I predict that the campaign tension of the last two weeks will make this good. If you are going to say something to get yourself elected, this is the time.

Most of the forums have the candidates speaking to an audience comprised of like-minded people (realtors, students, neighborhoods). This time they're talking to all of Tulsa.

Let's all be there to listen.
