I was inspired by the Tulsa World spread this morning to try to find something compellingly nice about each of the 5 major candidates for Mayor.
I know that negative emotions are stronger in politics and we often vote against another candidate as much as for. Ugly plants just grow faster than pretty ones.
But in the spirit of the Valentine's week of love and the hope that saying nice things about others will bring nice things said about me, I propose a topic focusing on what we like about the candidates.
You don't have to say nice things about all of them and can just post something that you think is great about your favorite.
