From state tourism's happy engine:

(OKLAHOMA CITY) - Integris Health's Discover Oklahoma television show will be pre-empted this Saturday with a special pilot episode called Urban Address, which will air at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 7. (KOTV Ch 6)

Urban Address will feature stories about downtown destinations in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. It will target people interested in an urban lifestyle (for example, the young, "hip" crowd), and will profile careers, loft living space, artists, people in the news, and music venues.

"Urban Address is another vehicle to promote all that is great about Oklahoma," explained Executive Producer Becky Blankenship.  "It's a fast-paced, contemporary view of today's urban lifestyle."

Plans are in the works to produce the show on a regular basis in a time slot separate from the Discover Oklahoma television series.  Discover Oklahoma will return to its usual time slot on Jan. 14.

Urban Address and Discover Oklahoma are both productions of the Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department.  Discover Oklahoma is also a  production of Integris Health.
